Assets Screen - allows you to enter all the data about an asset
Maintain Departments Pick List - Break
your assets down into manageable groups. Using this menu selection Departments can be
added to the system or old ones deleted.
Later when you enter an asset - Pull down a "pick list" and assign the
asset to a department - data entry with FATS is easy.
Maintain Person Responsible Pick List - Use this
selection to
add people who are responsible for assets. Later you can assign an asset to a
person with a pick list.
Maintain Category Pick List -
Group your assets by Computer Equipment, Portable Computer, Test Equipment,
Vehicles, Tools, etc.
Later print report for just the Test Equipment Group.
Maintain Locations Pick List -
FATS uses location barcodes to track location and movement of assets.
You can track by:
- Location
- Sub Location
- Sub-Sub Location
- Sub-Sub-Sub Location
With this
menu selection you tell the computer to translate barcode L0001 to
"Building 2, Second Floor", or Sub-Location Barcode, LS100023 to
"Room 221".
Maintain User Defined Fields - You can
have 30 User Defined Fields for any asset. You define Field Name and Content.
And you automatically set
up a pick list for any of the 30 fields when you define one !
Maintain Pre-Defined Assets List - Say
you want to enter 30 identical lap top computers into FATS. Just define the
fields for one computer - one time. Then just enter the barcode and pick from
the list of Pre-Defined Assets - FATS will enter all the data for you ! Enter an
unlimited number of Pre-Defined Assets.
